Engineer Abdelrahim Suleiman, the Arab States Broadcasting Union (ASBU) Director General, won the Strategic Excellence Award in the Radio and Television field, during the BroadcastPro Awards 2023 Ceremony held in Dubai, UAE on November 8th.
The award comes in recognition of ASBU ‘s excellence and innovation in the Media industry and as an appreciation of Eng. Suleiman ‘s efforts and dedication which have led ASBU to become today one of the best International Broadcasting Unions and the Joint Arab Action Institutions.
In his speech, ASBU Director General expressed his great happiness and pride and explained that the award goes beyond his own person to include the entire ASBU Family. He added that this ceremony is not only a prominent and successful media event, but also a culmination of efforts aiming to contribute to the Arab media content development and promotion.
He reminded in his speech that one of ASBU’s main objectives is to contribute to enhance Arab media content and innovation and to keep pace with rapidly developing technologies in the field of production.
Finally, the 13th edition of the BroadcastPro Middle East, organized annually in partnership with ASBU, is not just an acknowledgement of excellence but a platform for industry leaders, visionaries, and creatives to showcase their contributions. It is a testament to the industry’s ability to adapt and innovate, especially in challenging times, promising a brighter and more innovative future for the broadcast and media sector.
