As part of celebrating the World Radio Day on February 13, 2019 and with the support of UNESCO, a major radio contest is organized on the theme of the World Radio Day celebration, which is "Radio: a vehicle for dialogue, tolerance and peace"
This Contest aims to encourage radio stations to enter an international Contest that will collect and reward sound production in each of the following 6 languages: Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish. All radios are concerned.
Radio stations are invited to produce a specific sound production or a production as part of a recurrent program on their station under the theme "Radio: a vehicle for dialogue, tolerance and peace". This production must be broadcast in a linear way (terrestrial and/or streaming) on February 13, 2019. This production concerns all sound programmes likely to carry this message. The angle, content, style. . . are left to the discretion of the producer. Productions in the form of series or episodes are possible and recommended. In this case, one of the episodes of the series must be broadcast on February 13, 2019.
In order to participate in this Contest, radio stations are invited to submit a single 2-minute production in Wav or MP3 on www.world-radio-contest.org until February 14, 2019 at midnight (GMT). Arab radio stations wishing to participate can also do so through the ASBU General Directorate.
Six surprise prizes for the winners are available- one per language - (Pack composed among others of: ROBERTS Radio brand radio receivers, NAGRA recorders, visual podcast application, professional reporter application for smartphones. . . ), as well as a special prize to greet, in particular, a production that will stand out.
