His Excellency, President Kais Saied, President of the Republic of Tunisia, received on Friday, May 26th 2023, at Carthage Palace, Engineer Abdelrahim Suleiman, the Arab States Broadcasting Union (ASBU) Director General.
The meeting dealt with the history of the establishment of ASBU, based in Tunis and reviewed its future activities. Eng. Suleiman also highlighted the importance of developing new programs to further enhance the crucial role of radio stations in general and national radio stations in particular, in events coverage, in the light of the widespread of social media.
His Excellency President Kais Saied affirmed Tunisia's firm keenness to maintain Tunisia as ASBU headquarters country and its readiness to continue providing appropriate facilities to carry out its projects in the best conditions and overcome all difficulties it may encounter in implementing them.
