ASBU continues to ensure exchanges among its member corporations in the field of sports. This included a significant number of contributions in the weekly exchanges of various collective and individual sports activities proposed in particular by Oman, Algeria, Bahrain, Jordan and Saudi Arabia. Quite interestingly, therehas been growing interest in the final rounds of a variety of team sports’ final rounds, in addition to other tourist and cultural events and some friendly international games.
During this year, the contribution of member corporations in the two weekly sports exchange packages developed remarkably. 207 news items were exchanged compared to 101 in the past year. In contrast, daily sports exchanges were reltively stable with 238 news items exchanged this yar compared to 231 last year.
